We are the ones who dared to defend their rights.

The Great Wall of China was originally created to keep Chuck Norris out. It didn’t work. Chuck Norris drinks napalm to fight his heartburn. Bigfoot claims he once saw Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris once ate at Taco Bell and didn’t get diarrhea. Chuck Norris once ordered a steak in a restaurant. The steak did what it was told.

Our fight is based on principles found the constitution.

The famous and legendary Dr. Eugene Olivier taught us on the first day of French class the use of the verb ’etre’ which means ’to be’. In Russian there is the verb ’eta’, which roughly translates to ‘is’, a semantically acceptable equivocal. We mention this to you only to clarify the fact that we are people just like yourself, except we are in a predicament, while others are not. We did not choose to be a part of this predicament, it just came to exist that we are, and we are very pissed about it.

We are not politically motivated, our motley crew is surprisingly comprised of a majority of conservatives with a refreshing sprinkle of blue dog democrats. We do not have any political agenda besides our intent in protecting our community, our families, and the homes that we live in. As one member put it,“I like my small town and intend on seeing that it does not change into something that I wouldn’t like.”

We are not comprised of “The Old Gaurd” several of our members have only recently moved to our county and are very upset that the property they invested in is not what they thought it would be. As one member stated the obvious, “If I knew that I would be living next to some guy’s power plant, I would have never bought this house.” Those that have been here for over fifty years feel that our long term investment has practically been stolen right from under our noses.

Most importantly, we are your neighbours. We live in Lamar County, some of us new, some of us have been here our entire lives, but regardless we are all members of the same community that like our homes. We like living in rural Georgia, and do not appreciate being conned out of that opportunity. We go to church, shop, eat, and use the same facilities as all the other residents of this county. The only difference being that we were robbed and the other members of our community were not.

The entire installation of this facility has only one purpose and that is to make two solitary individuals wealthy off of the backs of their neighbour’s. What could possibly be morally acceptable about that?

What are we doing about this?

We are filling for tax exempt status with the IRS, because the only thing we have to gain in this fight is the protection of our personal property, which is something that we already possess. Not a single individual in our movement desires or wants to financially gain from any opportunity that may present itself in our struggle. We simply want and are furiously fighting for ethical and legal treatment, something that has not yet occurred in this scandal.

Filing for tax exemption also defines our group of victimized citizens as an organized entity, an entity that is separate from ourselves, and one that is organized with the sole intent of fighting perverse acts of legislature and justice like the one that has unfolded itself before us. This organized entity will act like a coat of armour, taking the brunt of the legal liability, and further provide protection to those that were unknowingly robbed of the value of their real estate investments.

We call upon all residents of this county to join us as we fight corrupt government and a scandal to rob us of our neighborhood. We are filing suit against the pervaders of injustice and with a secure legal standing, will be reclaiming damages to offset the losses in property value that all will experience when this abomination is constructed. Since we have no intent on profiting, all funds to reimburse damages will be redistributed back to our invested membership, which is only the ethical thing to do. So come join us, and fight for the value of your property, and the right for your community to continue it’s existence.
